Stansted Generation 2, Stansted

Stansted G2 was a major infrastructure project supported by the Government's White Paper on Civil Aviation in the South-East.

 

HED fulfilled two important roles working on the masterplanning and design of the new runway and terminal facilities with Grimshaw Architects, developing a layout that responds sensitively to its countryside setting and undertaking the Landscape and Visual Assessments of the new design.

 

HED's input at Stansted complements its wider work at Heathrow and Gatwick as part of its BAA Framework.
