A unique brief to provide a "London Royal Park" in the middle of the Saudi desert combined the need for historic research in one climate with construction in another and the need to realise an English landscape using exotic plants and innovative techniques.
Once understood, the essence of the Royal Park was, in plan and detail, deconstructed and then successfully rebuilt to survive the climatic extremes of a distant land.
