Formerly known as BBC Media Village, White City Place is being developed into an exciting mixed-use quarter of contemporary office, retail and leisure space.

The 17-acre campus has six existing buildings and a four-acre development site with the potential to create additional office buildings. The scheme, designed by architects Allies and Morrison, includes the refurbishment and re-positioning of three existing office buildings alongside improvements to the public realm and retail provision.

Hyland Edgar Driver designed and delivered the landscape for a sequence of public spaces, a new central avenue with retail restaurants and mini-gardens. HED’s role in delivering innovative design and methods of construction has ensured the landscape and public realm has lived up to the areas bold status as a new and exciting business district. HED has delivered design solutions which have kept the scheme cost effective, on budget and on programme.
