Jonathan joined HED in 2021 bringing with him over 28 years of private practice experience and special expertise in infrastructure, sustainability and heritage.
Jonathan is a practical designer and experienced Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) practitioner with proven record of team working and skills as a design team leader and business manager.
Key project experience has included preparation of a Green Infrastructure Plan for the City of Ayrau, Kazakhstan; preparation of a Detailed Design Framework for the landscape and ecological integration of a 120km highway from Tehran, Iran through the Albortz Mountains to Shomal on the Caspian Sea; development of strategic delivery framework centred on a new Great Park for Redcar; project manager for a 4 year framework agreement with English Heritage to complete landscape condition surveys and recently the landscape design lead for a number of sections N1 and N2 of the HS2 packages.
Jonathan has an additional qualification as an Envision Sustainability Professional – a reflection of his passion to embed more responsibility and efficiency into the design and construction processes. In particular, regarding the use and re-use of natural resources.
