Battersea Power Station, London
HED was appointed to work alongside Rafael Vinoly Architects on the masterplan and design codes for Battersea Power Station redevelopment, a celebrated and iconic London landmark and its 38 acre site. Planning consent was secured in 2011 and construction started through its new owner.
The mixed-use development would of created a new sustainable, urban quarter for this part of London respecting the past whilst looking to a new future with an urban public realm and 380m long riverside park central to the creation of a unique sense of place.
