Drapers Gardens, London

Drapers Gardens is a high quality office development in the heart of London's financial district. HED designed and oversaw implementation of the streetscape enhancements and a pocket park for the tight, city centre site. In the pocket park, raised polished granite planters provide enclosure, formal and informal seating. These distinctive features also cleverly offer discreet security protection for the building's glass facades.

Box-clipped hornbeam trees are a special feature in the pocket park and set this development apart in the narrow urban streets. The offices' landscape is completed by private outdoor garden roof terraces where tenants can enjoy views across the City.
