Located above the St David’s 2 shopping centre, the Hayes Apartments courtyard gardens provide a calm retreat away from the busy city centre below for the exclusive use of the residents. The design for the four courtyard gardens include contoured lawns, with raised paving, timber decking and seating surrounded by shrubs, trees and walkways providing individuality to the setting of the residential apartment blocks. The gardens cover 2,200sq m with the planting design carefully considered to provide both colour and scent when in full bloom during the spring/summer but also visually appealing in its sculptural quality throughout the winter.
