Spinningfields, Manchester

A joint development by Allied London Properties and Manchester City Council, Spinningfields provides a regenerated, mixed-use quarter and improved public realm integrated into the thriving city centre business and legal district including Manchester's Civil Justice Centre.

A sequence of major public squares linked with tree-lined boulevards and streets reconnects the City Centre to the River Irwell with the underlying topography of the site giving each new space a unique identity.

HED was responsible for the landscape masterplan, design and detail delivery of this successful public realm and continues to work with Allied London Properties through the final stages of the masterplan's realisation.
