White City Place, London

Totalling over 550,000 sq ft of new office accommodation set within the former BBC Media Village and designed for the modern creative industries, White City Place is networked for creative thought.

The public realm has been re-purposed for the modern workplace creating high quality and exciting retail and leisure options within a fully Wi-Fi enabled landscape setting, which includes both public space around the buildings and internal courtyard gardens between offices. Curated reception spaces within each of the buildings connect the internal and external landscape areas forming a changing calendar of events in complement to seasonal change within the different planting typologies.

The central public space comprised of raised gardens, lawns and seating options provides the focus of creative life designed to inspire, encourage social interaction and extend activity beyond the traditional working day. A flexible approach is maintained to allow pop-up events and performance to nestle within the rich planting tapestry.

Public realm is a natural forum – somewhere people can get out from behind the desk, sit out on the lawns and share their ideas and opinions. Today, people not only demand a great place to work, they want great facilities and setting.
